The Metro tile of the Pitcox series in Plata shows a gentle, warm grey that calms rooms while retaining a modern feel. The characteristic bevel plays with light and shadow and gives kitchen backsplashes, shower walls or hallways an elegant depth – classic in loft-style or subtle in a Scandinavian setting.
As a matt-glazed earthenware wall tile for interior use it is waterproof and easy to care for. The homogeneous surface reduces reflections, hides fingerprints and can be cleaned quickly with a wipe – perfect for heavily used areas such as the kitchen and bathroom.
In the 7,5x15 cm format it can be laid in half- or third-bond as well as in a herringbone pattern. Harmonious light-grey grout lines emphasize the surface, while white or anthracite-coloured joints create contrast. Combined with wood- or concrete-effect materials it produces a timeless look.
