Particularly hard or thick tiles, such as granite, cannot be cut through with a conventional tile cutter. For tiles made of concrete, porcelain, stone, volcano, granite and particularly hard rock, an angle grinder and the THX diamond disc must be ready to hand.

The THX diamond disc was specially developed for processing large and hard wall and floor panels. Due to the special material composition, the cutting disc can be used both dry and wet. The high cutting performance of the disc is achieved with a special shape of the disc and the use of industrial diamonds. These are embedded in the outer areas of the pane. Special procedures are used to attach these segments to the master blade. With the disc it is possible to cleanly separate the tiles with micrometer precision.

Tile cutting disc with a long service life
The long service life of the TXH tile cutting disc is achieved by the fact that diamonds that have become dull break out of the disc. The diamonds integrated deeper into the disc are then used. The actual abrasive is embedded in the homogeneous core layer of the disc. Since the cutting blade can withstand high thermal loads, the disc can also be used dry to process hard and thick tiles. A cutting disc suitable for dry cutting can also be used for wet cutting. If necessary, the diamond disc can be sharpened using the sharpening stone specifically offered by the manufacturer.
