Schlüter-SHELF-E-S1 TRIANGLE PURE BRONZE
Triangular corner wall shelf

Schlüter-SHELF is a wall storage system – optionally made of brushed stainless steel or aluminum with high-quality powder coating or a RAL color of your choice – in the designs FLORAL, CURVE, PURE, SQUARE and WAVE. It can be used as a shelf on all tiled wall areas (e.g. shower area, tiled backsplash of kitchen units).

Schlüter-SHELF-E are shelves in three different geometries for corner installation. The shelves can be installed directly during tiling or subsequently in the joints of tiled walls using the support wings, which are only 2 mm thick.

Optimum load transfer is achieved through the specified corner installation and the subsequent silicone edging.

installation

Corner – direct installation with tile laying

1. The tile covering must be laid with a joint width ≥ 2 mm.

2. After the tile adhesive has dried, position the SHELF-E shelf and mark the tile approximately 1 cm inwards from the outer corners of the shelf. To protect it from dirt, the shelf should be removed during the subsequent grouting. The joint should be left free in the area of the markings.

3. Once the joint material has dried, the shelf can be finally positioned.

4. It is then sealed all around with a silicone seam.

5. Before use, the drying time of the silicone seam must be taken into account.

Corner – subsequent installation

1. Determine the joint in which SHELF-E is to be positioned.

2. Now mark the areas where the joint mortar for the support wings must be left out.

3. The tile joint must be milled out using a suitable tool (joint cutter, angle grinder, etc.). Important: The depth of the cut must be taken into account so that any existing sealing layer behind the tile is not damaged.

4. The shelf is positioned and provided with a silicone seam all around.

5. Before use, the drying time of the silicone seam must be taken into account.
