Armored fabric
Crack-bridging, reinforced and alkali-resistant glass fiber fabric for reinforcing thin-bed mortars and floor leveling compounds, particularly on wooden substrates. SCHÖNOX PZG is extremely tear-resistant and can be used in many applications. High alkali resistance is achieved by using high-quality glass yarn with a special coating. For indoor and outdoor use.
Areas of application:
- Reinforcement of suitable SCHÖNOX floor leveling compounds on wooden substrates, e.g. wooden floorboards.
- Reinforcement on old substrates to reduce tensions and movements in combination with SCHÖNOX iFIX™ or suitable SCHÖNOX tile adhesives.
- Reinforcement on mixed masonry or mixed substrates on wall surfaces to absorb tensions for subsequent plaster or mortar layers in combination with SCHÖNOX iFIX™ or suitable SCHÖNOX tile adhesives.
- Reinforcement to absorb tensions on load-bearing substrates during subsequent laying of thin natural stones in order to prevent cracking in combination with SCHÖNOX iFIX™ or suitable SCHÖNOX tile adhesives.
